Accommodation

Conference attendees can access a discounted rate at three nearby hotels. We encourage you to book accommodation early, as the Toronto International Film Festival is ongoing during the Conference, and may result in a shortage of hotel space in Toronto.

Travel

By Air

Toronto is accessible by Toronto Pearson International Airport, and the Billy Bishop Airport. It is also possible to fly into the Hamilton International Airport, which is approximately one hour away from downtown Toronto.

By Train

Via Rail offers convenient train travel to Union Station in downtown Toronto from a variety of Canadian locations. 

Getting Downtown

Toronto Pearson International Airport is a 30-40 minute drive from downtown Toronto, although it may take longer in heavy traffic. Taxis are available at the airport for a flat rate, and airport limo service is available for pre-booking. Rideshare services like Lyft and Uber are also available in Toronto. Public transit is available via the Union Pearson Express train, which travels downtown to Union Station in only 25 minutes, or via the 900 Airport Express bus.

Billy Bishop Airport is located on the Toronto islands in the harbour near downtown. It is a quick 5-10 minute taxi ride to downtown, although it may take longer in heavy traffic. There is also a complimentary express shuttle running every 15 minutes that takes passengers downtown, with a drop-off point near Union Station.
