Early bird pricing is available until August 1.

  • Early bird general admission - $195.50 ($170 + $25.50 HST)
  • Early bird non-profit admission - $172.50 ($150 + $22.50 HST)
  • Early bird student admission - $86.25 ($75 + $11.25 HST)

Regular pricing is available after August 1.

  • General admission - $230 ($200 + $30 HST)
  • Non-profit admission - $201.25 ($175 + $16.25 HST)
  • Student admission - $115 ($100 + $15 HST)

Registration is mandatory for all attendees. Please register for one ticket at a time to ensure the full name and title of each attendee is provided.

Tickets allow access to all Canadian Animal Law Conference events, including the keynote address on the evening of Friday, October 4, and conference programming on Saturday, October 5 and Sunday, October 6. Tickets include vegan breakfast, refreshments during breaks, and lunch and a reception on Saturday. Attendees are free to make their own dinner plans on Saturday evening. Student admission tickets include access to all Canadian Animal Law Conference events, as well as the Student Conference during the day on Friday, October 4. Student travel grants are available to members of Animal Justice student clubs at Canadian law schools. For more information and to apply, please go here.

Ticket Policy

Tickets may only be used by the ticket holder, and cannot be resold or transferred without permission from the Conference.

Before August 1, 2019 tickets may be canceled for a refund, minus a $25 + 15% HST administrative fee that will be retained by the Conference. After August 1, tickets may be canceled for a 50% refund. After September 1, refunds are not available for canceled tickets. If you need to cancel your ticket or can no longer attend, please contact the Conference organizers at

The Conference is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive learning environment. Ticket holders agree to be respectful of all others at the Conference, including attendees, speakers, staff, and volunteers. Demeaning, discriminatory, and harassing behaviour directed at gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, social status, religion, creed, ability, age, appearance, or other personal characteristics is not permitted.

By registering and attending the Conference, ticket holders consent to being photographed, videorecorded, and / or audiorecorded. Images, videos, and audio recordings may be used for news, advertising, social media, to promote future conferences, or other reasons. Ticket holders release the conference from any liability resulting from the creation or use of such photos, video, or audio recordings.

Nonhuman animals are not permitted at the conference, with the exception of service animals.

The Conference reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel tickets and / or refuse entry with or without refund, including for inappropriate conduct, or for failure to comply with the ticket policy.
