Getting Downtown
The airport is a 30-40 minute drive from downtown Halifax, although it may take longer in heavy traffic. Taxis are available at the airport for a flat rate of $53 to downtown. Limo taxi service is available for pre-booking with rates starting at $63.
Uber and Lyft do not operate in Halifax.
Airport shuttle service to and from downtown is available via Maritime Bus for $22 a one-way trip, or $40 for a return trip. Tickets must be pre-booked.
Public transit is also available via the MetroX 320 bus. Buses depart every 30-60 minutes.
